National High Magnetic Field Laboratory
The only facility of its kind in the United States, the National High Magnetic Field Laboratory (MagLab) is the largest and highest-powered magnet laboratory in the world.
The RCC partners with Dr. Anant K Paravastu at the National MagLab. Prof. Paravastu received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in chemical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of California, Berkeley, respectively. He subsequently completed a research fellowship at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Paravastu specializes in the use of solid state nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy for structural characterization of self-assembled proteins
