The FSU Psychology Department is home to world-class scholars whose research consistently attracts national and international recognition. The quality and impact of faculty and student research has propelled the department to the top ranks of psychology programs nationwide. In addition to excelling in research, the faculty are recognized for excellence in teaching.

FSU Psychology provides outstanding graduate and undergraduate programs in six areas. Students have access to the resources and training they need to achieve distinction in their areas of study including an established program for involving students in research, scholarships and grants for student-initiated research, an international program just for our majors, and an active Psi Chi chapter that hosts events celebrating student research and service.
