We are excited to welcome our newest team member, Bin Chen, PhD. Dr. Chen is originally from China. He obtained a M.A. in mathematics and a PhD in astrophysics from the University of Oklahoma in 2011. Bin worked as an astronomy postdoc for OU for two and a half years before he joined the RCC at the FSU. He has published more than 20 research articles in leading astronomy and astrophysics journals. Several of his research proposals have been granted by NASA. He specializes in scientific programming, numerical analysis, and high performance computing.
