After 13 years at Florida State University, our director, Jim Wilgenbusch, will leave Tallahassee to take a position as the Associate Director of the Minnesota Supercomputing Institute on the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota.

After Jim’s departure in late June, Dr. Paul van der Mark will serve as the interim RCC director while representatives from several academic departments, the Office of Research and ITS conduct a search for a permanent director. More information about that position is available for interested parties.

We are grateful for Jim’s dedication to the RCC and many contributions to its success and wish him and his family the best in their move to the Twin Cities. And remember, once a Nole always a Nole!
