We're pleased to announce that we have upgraded MATLAB to Version 2013b on the Spear and HPC clusters.

MATLAB 2013b includes many new features, bugfixes, and enhancements. You can learn more about these by viewing the MATLAB Release Notes. Also, be sure to check out this brief video produced by Mathworks.

MATLAB 2012 will remain available for a short time on the Spear cluster. In order to access the old version, you will now need to run the following executable, which is no longer in the path:

/opt/matlab/r2012a/bin/matlab

We have not yet upgraded MATLAB on the Condor cluster, but will post another announcement when that occurs.
