Introduction

bbftp-client is the client-side part of the bbFTP program which is a software package, using its own specialized file transfer protocol which is intended to simplify and expedite the transfer of very large files from place to place. The connections created using the program are secure and connection information is encrypted.

Using bbFTP-client on RCC Resources

The bbftp-client software can be called from the command line on HPC login nodes by using the command bbftp -[OPTIONS] where the -[OPTIONS] refers to any number of available command line options available. See the main documentation for a list of these options and detailed usage information. Note that usage of bbftp-client on HPC login nodes does not require a module to be loaded.
