FSU Facilities and ITS together with H2 Engineering are planning a renovation of the Sliger serverroom for which funding was provided by Kyle Clark, Vice President of F&A. We are currently exploring upgrades to the power, cooling and security infrastructure.

This is a town hall meeting, and all interested parties are invited.  During this meeting, we would like to get some input from our customers regarding down time that will be used by H2 Engineering for planning purposes. Some of the upgrades of the power systems (e.g. the replacement of the transfer switch between generator power and City Power) can not happen without turning power of to the whole Sliger building. This will result in downtime.

We will also provide details about the Sliger Renovation and soliict input about future colocation policies for FSU academic and administrative departments.
