On Sunday, November 24 at 5am, the City of Tallahassee will replace the electrical gear outside of the Sliger Building. This will require the building to run on generator power for up to four hours while the work is completed.

We don't expect any impact on HPC operations, since the generators are load-tested once per month. However, we have had to shut down all HPC compute nodes in the past during similar maintenance periods. Please monitor our Twitter Feed or check this site for updates if we have to shut down any nodes.

This notice only applies to the HPC and some storage systems. No other RCC services are located in Sliger.
