Lunch and Learn - Automated Electron Microscopy Pipeline

In this session, Duncan Sousa, PhD, will cover the Titan Krios work pipeline from data collection to final product (generally 3D reconstructions). This includes a bit about electron microscopy and what our data looks like to what our final 'product' looks like, why the HPC is critical to this operation, and how the whole pipeline works and is setup.

Dr. Sousa runs the Biological Science Imaging Resource at Florida State University. He manages everything from running the Titan Krios microscope for external users to managing the business plan for the facility.

Registration is limited and food is provided.

The location of this Lunch and Learn is: Dirac Science Library Room 150-K (map). NOTE We are across from the Oceanography building next to the parking garage, not inside the main entrance to Dirac.
