Update: Feb 4 (10:15am) Lustre is back online. All services are operational.

Update Friday Jan 24 Unlike the previous announcement, during this maintenance we will

• not upgrade software on our Panasas storage system or the Moab/torque job scheduler and therefore the HPC compute nodes and login nodes will stay available during this period
• do more hardware replacements on our Lustre storage system and therefore the Spear interactive cluster and the Condor login node will be unavailable.

We will be performing HPC systems maintenance from Monday, February 3 through Tuesday, February 4, 2014. During this maintenance, we will be upgrading Panasas, MOAB, and Torque software.

Impact

• Panasas and HPC login nodes will be down for 1-6 hours on Monday, starting at 9am.
• Jobs will not be able to run during MOAB and Torque upgrade and testing. This will last both days.

Spear, Lustre, Condor, and SKY will not be affected.
