Data @ Dirac: Introduction to Data Science

This workshop will consist of a general broad introduction to data science covering topics such as acquiring, cleaning, analyzing and visualizing data.
Packages such as beautiful soup, matplotlib, pandas will be covered. The emphasis will not be on statistics, but rather on dealing with data in an era of big data, cloud and high performance computing.
