  • Spring 2020 Maintenance Draft Schedule

    We have developed a draft schedule for our Spring 2020 Maintenance which is scheduled to occur from Monday, May 4 to Friday, May 8.

  • RCC Receives "Gold" Level Sustainability Accolade

    Thanks mainly to the efforts of Mitch Gans, RCC has achieved the highest level "Gold" certification from the FSU Sustainable Campus Office.

  • Upcoming Maintenance: May, 2020

    Starting on Monday, May 4, we will bring down the HPC cluster to perform critical upgrades and other maintenance.

  • Omni-Path Upgrade to InfiniBand

    We are currently working on upgrading our Omni-Path infrastructure to InfiniBand. This will improve both the throughput and reliability of the HPC.

  • New nodes are on their way

    The RCC just completed a purchase from Atipa Technologies for 40 new HPC nodes.

  • Tropical Storm Dorian

    Tropical storm Dorian is currently heading towards Florida and it might be heading towards Tallahassee for labor day. We will keep a close eye on this system and act accordingly. Updates will be sent out through the notice list and the RCC website.

    The RCC is hiring a scientific application specialist to work on our team at FSU. If you're interested, you should apply!

  • Free MATLAB Workshops Available

    MATLAB is offering free webinars. FSU has a campus agreement with MathWorks to provide MATLAB to all faculty, staff, and students.

  • HPC and Spear upgrade to occur May 6 - May 12

    This May, we will perform periodic maintenance on our HPC and Spear clusters.  During this time, the HPC and Spear will be unavailable.  We will also be performing brief maintenance on our storage system.
