Numerical Relativity With Python and Matlab

I will give an introduction to the linear and non-linear gravitational lensing theory, and some related numerical problems. Specifically I will talk about microlensing simulation and ray-tracing in Kerr black hole spacetime. I will present some recent results obtained using my Python and Matlab code. Students interested in research at the Research Computing Center are encouraged to attend.
